September 2021 Blog Post
Ok as usual a rhetorical question. Fall officially starts September 22nd BUT after Labor Day it kinda already feels like Fall. The temperatures change so slowly however. So we are still wearing some Summer pieces but are so excited for the wardrobe change that we incorporate Fall pieces as well. We wear Blazer and Moto jackets but with sandals or slip dresses. We pull out the pumps and start layering our looks with a summer top, cardigan and jacket of some kind.
I live in the North East and every summer ask myself why I haven't just moved somewhere hot since I love the summer so much. Well... every time I answer the same way… I’m not into hurricanes, earthquakes, massive fires or excruciating boredom. And then I always follow with “Plus I love the way fashion changes every season.” (TRUE STORY, I really do say that).
Summer to Fall gives me a chance to clean out my closet and switch out my sandals for boots and my tank tops for sweaters. I swear it is like going shopping every season for free. We go from cute and sexy to classy and styled. And if you are really into fashion you also know September is when the most important issue of Vogue comes out and Fashion Week is truly upon us.
So then if I let fashion dictate the actual season we are back to my original question … Is it Fall Yet??
