Boy oh Boy do I love the holiday season. Kicking it off with the kids going back to school...lol. Ok, ok just kidding. But seriously Halloween really sets things off. Seeing the kids at such young ages taking the time to consider what they would like to dress up as. The thought and effort put into making sure what look like will send the message they are looking to convey. The outfit that represents what they want people to see. I find this to be exciting.
Little do they know that process starts they making of how they will think about themselves in the future and how the same process will show them how to use fashion. Are they confident enough to go outside the box? Do they care enough to really get into character? When you see them do you BELIEVE they are truly enjoying themselves?
This is exactly what I love about fashion. The distinct and wonderful opportunity to express yourself and be confident in who you are. What you want people to see couldn't come in a more exciting format. Getting to play dress up everyday as an adult has to be one of the true unrecognized pleasures of our era. But when you are consistant people remember. They start to get an understanding of who you are: Banker, Chef, Model, Priest, Entrepreneur, FASHIONISTA.
So have fun with it. Think about what you really like. I mean REALLY Like and wear it. Put on the things you want to wear when you think no one is looking but you still feel Amazing anyway. And most importantly show off. Besides you are about to spend the next couple months in Holiday Bliss with Friends, Family and Co-Workers. Shouldn't they see you at your best. I mean it's only right you share your Gorgeous Self with the world
