There is something to be said about confidence, about assurance and the utter ability to look into a crystal ball and know all will be right with the world. It is something totally different to be unrealistic...right?
I find and have found researching some of the most successful, wealthy and seemingly happiest people in the world that confidence outways realism almost EVERY TIME. I know for a fact Oprah is the perfect example. Coming from an impoverished, racist and masculine background there is no realistic possibility that this mediocre looking, black woman would have a chance in He double hockey sticks of doing well in her profession let alone being rich on top of being geniunely happy with her relationship and now I can honestly say with herself.
What makes you confident? What makes you believe you can do something that has never been done before or something that you just haven't ever personally seen with your own 2 eyes? What makes you take action when failure seems emminent?
I can tell you one thing for sure. When you look in the mirror you HAVE to see something no one can ever see and that's how powerful you are. Once you actually see that I got to tell you the world opens up like an oyster that has be brewing patiently waiting for you to discover your greatness while building the pearl of your life inside.
The other thing I can say with the utmost CONFIDENCE is don't let anybody tell you FASHION doesn't have anything to do with this process. You NEED, MUST and HAVE to be mindful of what you are putting out into the world. Whether you like it or not how you dress is a major representation of who you are but I'll save that topic for another post. The point I am making is what you put out you get back.
When you wear that fabulous dress to run around town the average commoner would think it was too much and clearly wouldn't get it. Notice I used the word commoner whose goals in life are usually limited to be born, go to school, get a job and die. No disrespect to the commoner (if they are happy) they just don't get it. But the ambitious minded person, the forward thinker will clearly see a powerhouse imagining she must be an entrepreneur or business exec or be a socialite because she clearly has it together and doesn't care what anybody thinks. Guess what that does to the way you think about yourself. Well duh. You will think wow I look amazing. You know what I am amazing. I feel great and I look great. I can do anything and attract all the positive things the world has to offer me feeling this good about myself.
So throw away the dingy sweats and hair scrungi (do people still wear those?). You certainly don't need a ball gown but take the time add a little accessory and walk around with a smile on your face and act like you own the joint.
